Dr. Akhil Dhanda became very involved in the field of drug abuse prevention during his DNB in the treatment of severe withdrawal cases. He is having significant experience in Awareness Generation, Prevention, Training and News Paper/Magazine Articles.
He has counseled individuals with dual diagnosis that included: Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Poly Substance Dependence, Substance Abuse and Alcohol. He has organized and attended 900+ awareness programs and provided counseling, guidance and treatment to 5000+ addicts till date.
